School's out for the summer...which means it's already time to start thinking about back-to-school shopping. At least there's a good chance you'll net some headphones if you're buying something from Apple.
Apple's new back-to-school offers have gone live, and like always, students can get some modest savings on MacBooks, iPads and iPhones. Apple's also giving away Beatsheadphones with certain Mac, iPad or iPhone purchases.
The fine print makes it clearer: buy any iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, or Mac Pro and you get Beats Solo2 wireless headphones, a $300 value. An iPad Pro, iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S or 6S Plus will net you Powerbeats2 wireless headphones ($200 value), or $200 credit towards the Beats Solo2. The offer ends on September 5.
Appropriately, since the iPhone 7 rumors point to the removal of the standard headphone jack, all the headphones are wireless.
